Hi There.
October has been a very busy month for Gosford Red Hatters.
We started with Breakfast at the Aquavista restaurant at Umina.
Then, we had a most wonderful week-end at Katoomba, staying at the Metropole. We were surprised with 9 of the local Red Hatters joining us for dinner, it was great.
On Saturday we had Maureen Palmer and her girls join us for Morning Tea and Lunch.  I don't think the old Metropole had heard so much laughter for a long, long time.
On the Sunday, we ventured out and about on the free bus. Some had to go home, but those who did not have other commitments, stayed on until the Monday.
Wow! What a week-end! Many thanks to Gail...who made sure that everything went off with out a hitch.
The 24th and 25th was the Queens Assembly week-end in Ulladulla. This was another great week-end for Queens to get together and discuss a bit of house keeping. Interesting to see we all have the same problems.
The week-end at Cockatoo Island was incredible, sleeping in the middle of Sydney Harbour was just unbelievable.  The company was great, the food was good, but next time we go we will hire one of the beautiful houses they have renovated. As we were sleeping in tents, it was a little hard getting up from the ground in the morning!

We enjoyed lunch at the Leagues Club, only a few attended, but a good time was had by the girls who came along.

I will be away from the 17th of November until 12th December, so I will not be at Barefoot Bowling, or the Christmas function.
I hope you enjoy these 2 events. I'd like to thank the Girls. Heather, for organising the Bowling, with Diedre's help, and Jean for all her work with the Christmas function.
I hope to see as many of you as possible for the lunch on the 21st Dec at the Sailing Club. But if not...
I wish you and yours a VERRY MERRY CHRISTMAS
and may God Bless, Big Hugs,
Denise
